OUR ENGAGEMENT LETTER
The engagement letter confirms and specifies the terms of our engagement and clarifies the nature and extent of our services.
Mario Tax Services will prepare the federal and state individual income tax returns you request, from the information you provide. Mario Tax Services will not audit or otherwise verify the data you submit; however, we (I) may ask you to clarify some of it with the supporting documentation.
In the event of any review by a government agency, this statement will serve as verification that your return was prepared based on the information you provided, and there was no intentional misstatement made by you. If your return is selected for audit, we will provide you with any information you have provided us and we have used to prepare your taxes and provide any suggestions on how you can best proceed.
DEADLINE
Please submit your tax information to us no later than April 4, of the current year, in order to have your return processed before the April Deadline.
Due to the many complexities of income tax return preparation, any information received later than April 4, of the current year, Mario Luis Tax Service may not be able to processed your taxes by the April Tax deadline.
At your request, we can apply for an extension of time to file your income tax returns, keep in mind, this does not extend the time for paying the taxes. As long as we receive your data by April 4, of the current year, we can provide you with an estimate of your tax liability. It will be your responsibility to pay your tax liability, when we submit your application for extension.
ACCEPTANCE OF ENGAGEMENT WITH MARIO ALABI, "MARIO'S TAX SERVICES"
I (We) authorize Mario Alabi “Mario’s Tax Preparation Services”, to prepare OUR federal and related state income tax returns, as determined by the information I (We) provide.
I (We) agree to pay for these services as follow:
- New Customers receive up to 25% discount of the amount they paid last year to complete their tax return in addition to Free E-Filing. This amount does not include the cost of a review or audit by a taxing authority.
- I (We) also agree that I (We) have the proper records to substantiate all items of income and deductions, including travel, entertainment and any other expenses, and that I (We) will carefully examine and approve the completed returns before signing them.
By having Mario’s Tax Service prepare our taxes, I (We) AGREE to the terms of this letter and have read the privacy statement.
Taxes will not be filed or taxes will not be sent electronically until payment in full is made
